Use these tips and tricks to help keep
your cost down and get your job finished
sooner. (It’ll also help keep our design
staff sane)
1. For best results and lowest cost, provide sharp, black & white
copy.
2. DO NOT have any screens, dots, background colors, color clip-
art, watermarks, shades of gray, etc. (These will each add to
the cost and time of your job)
3. Any clip-art, do-dads, wingdings, etc., should be black & white
line-art.
4. If you want to have photographs, please provide an original
black & white or color print
5. If the finished product will have more than one color ink,
please leave a gap between colors. Overlapping colors will cost
you more money and take longer to print.
6. If using electronic media (3.5" floppy disk, CD or USB drive),
please use the following formats:
Preferred: MS Publisher, TXT, RTF, DOC, PDF, JPEG
Usable: BMP, WKS
Extra charges may be incurred for: Pagemaker, Quark,
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Corel, EPS.
(We are unable to view/edit these types of files, therefore negatives will be made "blind." The
customer is responsible to ensure that what is in the file is exactly what is to be printed. All
negatives made from these files will be billed whether usable or not.)
